Homework Expectations
- Each night, check your child's planner and green take-home folder for spelling words, homework, important notes and information.
- Every Friday, your child will bring home a homework packet that contains some type of reading log and math worksheets. The homework packet is due the following Friday.
- Every evening, your 3rd grader is expected to read for 20 minutes.
- On four of those evenings, your child will fill in their Reading Log.
- In addition to the homework, time should be spent on Math Facts. Students should know addition and subtraction facts through 20 by the end of 2nd grade. By the end of 3rd grade, students should know multiplication facts through 10x10.
